Aloft Orlando Downtown

Updated: Aug 5, 2019

As alot of you know I travel for work and pleasure a ton to Orlando, Florida. I try and bring my fur babies (Huck Finn & Daisy) as much as I can with me when I go out of town. It tends to be hard to find hotels that welcome animals with open arms and make your stay enjoyable and hassle free.

Look no further my friends I have found the Orlando hotel for you and your furry little friends. Aloft Orlando Downtown is hands down one of the most pet friendly hotels I have ever been too. Alot of you that watched my instagram stories over the course of my stay know exactly what I am talking about. (Don't worry if you missed my stories you can go to my Orlando Instagram Highlight reel on my profile HERE.)

My husband and our best friends set-up a mini vacation for my birthday here. The hotel is simply gorgeous and has the most unique and modern feel to it.

Our room was the Corner Suite and had plenty of room for my husband and I with our dogs. The beds were also super comfy and we had the best view of downtown Orlando.

My dogs were loving how much room they had to run around. Normally when we are on vacation they don't have much room where we are staying. So they were happy campers!

Downstairs in the lobby is there bar (WXYZ) which had a ton of fabulous happy hour prices. WXYZ Bar was lit up with all of these tiny rainbow sparkles (pretty much a bloggers dream haha) and had a great menu to grab some snacks or a quick lunch. I had to have the quesadilla during happy hour and they were so good I ended up having twice during my stay!

The hotel also has a gorgeous pool in the front. Perfect to grab your happy hour drink and head to the pool for relaxation!

Aloft Orlando Downtown is also right in the heart of downtown Orlando and is a hop and skip from so many bars and restaurants! If you plan on going to Disney or Universal while you are staying at the hotel it is only a 30 minute drive as well which is great.

Now for my favorite part about this amazing hotel. For the past year, visitors of the Aloft Orlando Downtown have been greeted with an extra adorable hotel guest by adoptable dogs through there partnership with the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando and Aloft Orlando Downtown’s foster dog adoption program is the first and only hotel dog adoption program in Central Florida. How cool is that! Through the program, the pet-friendly hotel houses one dog from Pet Alliance at a time in a mini-Aloft doghouse and enclosure stationed for public view in the lobby, who can be adopted by hotel guests and visiting locals. Since launching in late May of last year, every pup that is part of the program has found their furever home at Aloft. While I was there the most adorable pup named Brooke was staying in the Aloft doghouse. If I didn't already have two dogs she would have definitely been coming home with me!

The weekend I stayed there they welcomed the 100th dog to there hotel, which they held a special celebration for with the “Bow Wow Luau” (July 27th from 3pm-7pm). Everyone showed up with their fur babies dressed up and ready to pawty. There was live music, Hawaiian cuisine, food trucks, a ton of merchants and these beautiful specialty designed custom tile doghouses that were up for auction with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Pet Alliance. I wish my pups could have fit in them because I would have been going home with two doghouses hands down!

Overall my stay at the Aloft Orlando Downtown was such a great experience. If you have been following me for awhile you know how I am in Orlando alot and to know I can now travel with my fur babies anytime I want and know they are safe is the best feeling in the world. One of the best parts that I have yet to mention about the Aloft Orlando Downtown is how affordable there prices are.

I highly recommend booking your next Orlando visit with the Aloft Orlando Downtown. If you have fur babies or not this hotel is gorgeous, has amazing hotel management, a great dine-in restaurant, beautiful rooms and is right in the middle of all the downtown Orlando fun.
