Updated: Jan 21, 2020

Florida has long been known as one of the most visited vacation destinations in the U.S. With warm weather, beautiful beaches, and an overall easy way of living, what’s not to love about the Sunshine State?

When it comes to tourism, Central Florida takes the cake. Not only is it home to amusement parks such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, but there are plenty of other fun activities to enjoy in the central part of the state. If you’re considering taking a trip down South this summer, here are a few of the biggest reasons to visit Central Florida.

Fun for the Whole Family

One of the biggest things that keeps people coming back to Central Florida is the family-friendly nature of this region. Orlando, one of the most popular Florida cities, is home to some of the most famous amusement parks in the world, most notably Disney World. Other popular amusement parks located in Orlando include Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, just to name a few. Whether you have small children or simply want to relive your childhood, the fun nature of Central Florida will have you searching for Orlando houses for sale in no time.

All Things Racing

For NASCAR fans, there is no better place to visit than Central Florida. Daytona Beach, a city on Florida’s Atlantic coast, is most known for being home to the Daytona International Speedway. Each February, the city of Daytona Beach hosts the Daytona 500 NASCAR Race, a huge event that has been known to attract hundreds of thousands of people annually. Whether you’re a diehard racing fan or a casual spectator, the energy and excitement of Daytona Beach are enough to make anyone want to stick around!

A Chance to Relax

Aside from amusement parks and racing, Central Florida is a great place to relax and unwind. If you’re a beach person, Daytona Beach and Tampa Beach are two places you must visit on your next trip to Florida. Relax on the white sand with a good book or splash around in the waves- the choice is yours! St. Petersburg is a popular spring break destination, making it a great option if you’re in the mood to party. Smaller beach towns, like Clearwater, St. Augustine, and New Smyrna Beach make great options for a more lowkey trip, so pick the beach that speaks to you and enjoy some much-needed relaxation.

If you’re still not convinced that Central Florida is home to some prime vacation destinations, there’s only one way to find out- take a trip and find out for yourself!
