Last night I had the pleasure of attending one of the best pairing dinners I have ever been to with my fellow blogger beauties @letseatsrq @theblondelatte
Eliza Ann's Coastal Kitchen at the Waterline Resort hosted a four-course dinner featuring Leclerc Briant Champage.🥂
Chef James Baselici perfectly prepared every dish & each dish was paired with a glass of Leclerc Briant Champagne.
This champagne is definitely a new favorite of mine. I will be picking up a bottle for New Years Eve for sure.
The night started with a champagne toast of Leclerc Briant, Brut Rose NV paired with Pickled Rhode Island Beach Blonde Oyster, Champagne Snow, American Paddlefish Caviar.
First Course was Cortez Golden Bottarga Risotto, Seared Hokkaido Scallop, Shaved White Truffle paired with Leclerc Briant, Brut Reserve NV.
Second Course was Green Tea Smoked Venison Loin, Ember Roasted Hen of the Woods Mushrooms, 5 Spice Hoisin Jus paired with Leclerc Briant, Brut Millesime 2010.
Third Course was a 30 Dry Aged 1855 NY Strip Steak, 61 Degree Egg, Kaluga Caviar, Foie Gras Butter paired with Leclerc Briant, Brut 1er Cru Les Chevres Pierreuses NV.
The finale was the amazing dessert course which was Poached Stone Fruit, Champagne Sabayon, Grains of Paradise Shortbread paired with Leclerc Briant La Crousette Blanc de Blanc N/V.
The food was amazing, the champagne was delectable and the company was even better.
If you are a foodie and love good wine/champagne I highly recommend checking out one of there upcoming pairing dinners.
The Waterline Resort has plans to have more wine pairing dinners in 2019..so stay tuned & make sure to follow Eliza Ann's Coastal Kitchen & Waterline Resort for updates!
