Epicurean Hotel - Tampa

As you guys know I frequent the Autograph Collection Hotels when I travel or when I am having a stay-cation. I love who different the boutique hotels are compared to your everyday hotels/resorts.

I have heard so many amazing things about the Epicurean Hotel in Tampa, Florida so I was super excited to finally go check them out.

The Epicurean Hotel has 137 guest rooms and suites which mix a blend of urban chic and comfort. They also have two on-site restaurants, an appointment-only full-service spa, and a stunning outdoor pool.

When I first walked into the Epicurean I was blown away by how elegant the hotel was. There was a glamorous wine bottle Christmas tree right outside the front door and the inside of the lobby reminded me of walking into a winery. The wine cork Christmas wreaths were such a pretty touch for the holidays. I was greeted with a complimentary glass of rose when I checked-in and everyone was so friendly.

Right across from check-in is Bern's Fine Wines and Spirits. You can sample different wines and buy a few bottles for your room or to take your favorite wine back home with you. They also have regular dinner pairing events and wine tasting events. Be sure to follow them on instagram so you can find out when there next event is!

Now for my room! My room had a beautiful blend of modern and classic details. Everything from the built in wine bucket in the dresser to all of the beautiful artwork around the room. It truly felt like I was a royal staying at the Epicurean Hotel.

After we got situated we headed over to the rooftop bar Edge inside of the hotel. Talk about a stunning view of South Tampa. You can have light bites, your favorite drink and enjoy an epic sunset. I sipped on the Cucumber S&P (Hendricks gin, hot house cucumbers, salt & pepper, cane sugar, hand-pressed lime). You can also enjoy there happy hour menu from 5pm to 7pm. Which includes discounted wine, beer, craft cocktails and bites.

We had a reservation at Elevage downstairs so we wrapped up and headed down to dinner. This was my first time dining at Elevage and I had heard so many amazing things about the food and drinks.

I started off with a few craft cocktails that were recommended and both were delicious.

For starts we had the Dry-Aged Beef Tartare (smoked mushroom, togarashi, roasted sesame, preserved lemon tomato, puffed quinoa, endive, under smoke) and the Hand Pulled Burrata (culatello, compressed melon, tomato, pecan pesto, crusty bread). The presentation on both was so pretty! Now for the flavor..hands down the best burrata I have ever had and the tartare had this smoked flavor that blew me out of my chair. Honestly two of my favorite appetizers I have had in 2019.

For our entrees we had the Charred Avocado (petit vegetables, quinoa, field greens, burnt scallion vinaigrette, pumpkin seed gremolata) and the Ora King Salmon (cauliflower mousseline, raisin caper emulsion, roasted cauliflower, agro dolce, pine nuts). The Charred Avocado had the best flavor and again the presentation was stunning with all of the beautiful colors. My husband had the salmon and said it was so flavorful and he would definitely get it again.

For dessert we were so stuffed but we had to get something! We decided to get the Tiramisu Gelato. If you are a fan of tiramisu I highly recommend this gelato! It was the perfect amount and was so indulgent.

Our overall experience at Elevage was amazing. I can not wait to go back and try new menu items.

We headed back upstairs for a nightcap and had a beautiful view of all of the lights of South Tampa.

Whether you are in Tampa for business, looking for a great place for a stay-cation or just want to get away from your hometown and experience Tampa Bay. I highly recommend the Epicurean Hotel. It is like no other hotel I have stayed at before and has a great uniqueness about it. I will definitely be back.

Make sure to give them a follow on instagram to stay in the know on all of there specials and events.

I coming to Tampa a day before Christmas. I'm looking for a reservation, a single bedroom for a couple. Are you guys giving concessions during the Christmas season? And is your hotel affiliated with coupon providers if we book through it (e.g. christmas coupons).
